The lights are on
2014 may seem like a long ways away, but if this newest info on the Wii U's Zelda title is correct, Nintendo's working hard to make it worth the wait.
According to a Wii U Daily source, the Wii U's Zelda title isn't expected until 2014, although work on the game began back in 2010. Eiji Aonuma is once again heading up the project, and the team he's assembled is huge.
The game was originally intended to come out in 2013, but this target was quickly changed.
According to the source, this Zelda's dungeons are massive, the game won't have multiplayer (apart from MiiUniverse functionality), and it utilizes the console's GamePad to such an extent that the game itself influenced the design of the controller. An early, lone test dungeon was "bigger than the Hyrule Field in Ocarina," said the source.

Can't wait for a new Zelda. A game with dungeons that big... That'll be fun.
I'm happy with Nintendo's decision to keep making these games longer every iteration. The article also mentioned it will take "hours to complete" just a single dungeon. Excited!
I would buy a wii u if this game came out.
This game sounds like it's going to be MASSIVE!!!!
I'll buy it day one. Nintendo hasn't failed to deliver a great Zelda game yet.
Sounds awesome. Day one buy for me, but then again, every Zelda is for me
Please be true. Please be true. PLEASE BE TRUE! This would definitely be a day one purchase for me! Also, it sounds like a HUGE, fun game!
Oh...friggin...god...this game will take forever to beat if the dungeons are that long.
