Nintendo Achieves Guinness World Record For Kirby’s 20th Anniversary

They said it couldn't be done. They said it was too many people chewing too much bubble gum in one place. They were wrong.

Just like Babe Ruth pointing towards center field during game three of the 1932 World Series, Nintendo said they were going to break the previous record of 304 people chewing bubble gum and blowing bubbles at one time, and they did. Yesterday at PAX Nintendo gathered 536 people, gave them all gum and pink t-shirts and gum, and they blew some bubble gum bubbles. And it was all in honor of Kirby's 20th anniversary.

Kirby’s Dream Collection: Special Edition, the other part of Kirby's one-year short of being able to drink legally anniversary, releases for the Wii on September 16.
