The lights are on
Announced back in July, Steam Greenlight allows users to vote on which games get published on Steam. The service is now live.
Head here to begin deciding the fate of games like Battle Duty: Modern Field 3 and Octodad: Deadliest Catch.

YESH! Battle Duty: Modern Field 3!
That sounds really cool. I can't wait to see what people want.
Since it actually released, I think I've found at least 10 games that I would like to see up on Steam. It seems like it would take quite a few votes for the game to get to that point, which would likely keep games like Sonichu (which I randomly found) out.
This is a cool idea...but none of the games caught my eye...
I like the idea, as soon as I went on it I saw a TON of games I'd play the hell out of if they came out finished on Steam for a good price.
Also, everybody, right now, upvote Slenderman: Source, because it looks awesome.

Yes it is great i have a game on it also! Look for spacebit :) its a unique sci fi survival game :D
Wow I forgot about this looks like I will half to get into it
There were people not voting games up because they looked like another game, or had a similar idea, and thought that that game, already released, was better. Well dang
I really hope heroes and generals get it
I like looking at the indies my PC can actually run.
This just seems like a bad idea to me.
This is great for people who luv Steam.
I'll wait for Steam Redlight, is this too old of a reference?
Like we needed anymore reasons to think Steam is the best digital distribution service.
