The lights are on
Vigil is working on a new update for Darksiders II on console and PC that addresses several bug and player issues since the game launched last week. One of the most notable bugs the team is targeting is one that halts player progression. "A small number of our players on Xbox 360 and PS3 have informed us that they encountered bugs, which can potentially block progression while playing the game," Vigil says.
For PC, Vigil is additionally adding several new features that include vsync updates, improved shadow map resolution, X-axis options and additional keyboard mapping options (amongst other community requests).Vigil hopes to release the updates in the coming weeks. The developer notes the patches for the console versions make take awhile longer due to the approval process from Sony and Microsoft.[Source: Darksiders]
Good thing they're fixing this kind of stuff, hopefully it won't be a bother in about a year when I get my grubby hands on this great game!
Nice but I have not actually seen any bugs that have affected my gameplay this far! Keeping my fingers crossed!
