Borderlands In 16-Bit

by Matthew Kato on Aug 23, 2012 at 04:44 AM

Turns out technology is cyclical after all. Gearbox Software has made is own "de-make" of its original Borderlands game in a 16-bit browser shooter called The Border Lands.

The game can be played on the company's website, and features four choosable characters, different weapons, and a high-score board.

Other spin-off minigames are planned, including Mount Jackmore and Gun Off.

Borderlands 2 comes out on September 18 for Xbox 360, PC, and PS3.
