Vote!!! The Game Coming From Infinity Blade Dev

The developer behind Infinity Blade and Shadow Complex revealed its new project Vote!!! The Game, a free download going live tomorrow on the Apple App store. Chair has partnered with Rock The Vote to encourage voter registration.

The game is described as a "a cartoon-style political slugfest" where players assume the role of either President Barack Obama or candidate Mitt Romney in a battle for the White House. From the video trailer below, it seems Vote!!! The Game plays like Infinity Blade where players swipe on the touch screen to attack and tap to dodge attacks.

Players can dress their candidate in a number of outfits and also equip crazy weapons. Vote!!! The Game also allows players to register to vote directly through the app

"We’re excited to join forces with Rock the Vote to help emphasize the importance of voter registration and encourage gamers to become more involved in the political process," said Chair Entertainment creative director Donald Mustard.

  • Oh God no...
  • In what world does this encourage voter registration? Somehow, it makes me hate politics even more.
  • Oh gosh... This is just terrible. I want politics to stay out of my gaming. I already know who I'm going to vote for. I don't need a game to help me decide lol.
  • Crap...now the comments will be filled with people argueing over politics.
  • America is so funny and strange.

  • So, they're acting like there aren't a bunch of other candidates to vote for? Romney has not yet actually been given the nomination, and is in no place to be selecting a running mate. And this game decided to completely ignore the other candidates on the ballot from the Constitution, Libertarian, and Green parties, as well as Ron Paul, who is up for and qualified for, nomination as the Republican Presidential candidate. This game completely misses the point in voting. It's not "which Donkey or Elephant you want." It's about which CANDIDATE is the best, and they took the easy, sheeple-inspired way. Besides which, Obama and Romney are exactly the same--anyone with a brain outside of the indoctrination of the big corporate news companies should know that.
  • Not even video games are safe from politics anymore.....*sigh*
  • Well at least it's free.

  • This is clearly a step in the right direction.

  • Thats freakin awesome.
  • one word.......LAME!!!!!!!!!!

  • So, this is what Chair has been working on instead of Shadow Complex 2...
  • *yawn*

  • Looks beyond stupid. If anyone is genuinely interested in an actual strategic game with substance based on the elections give the Political Machine a shot. It's from the same guys who do the Sins/Galactic Civ games.
  • *facepalm*

  • Wow, Shaking my head.

  • i like the idea.  it makes a stupid idea look dumber... brilliant.

  • W...T...F?

  • No love for Shadow Complex 2?
