The lights are on
Nintendo is holding a press event for the upcoming Wii U next month in New York, and Nintendo may take the opportunity to announce some long sought after details about the system. Nintendo used a similar New York press event to announce the North American release date of the 3DS, so it's fair to assume that this event may be serving the same purpose.
The event will happen on September 13 at 10 a.m. EST and it will be hosted by Nintendo of America president and COO, Reggie Fils-Aime. It's going to be a six hour event, so there will likely be games to check out as well. You can be sure we will let you know all the details as they happen on Thursday, September 13.

Good. I was starting to worry when it would release.
Finally. I need to know how much money to set aside. I don't want to be as late to the game as I was with the Wii.
November 18th
Finally!!!
Finally we can settle what this bad boy is gonna cost!
Sounds good.
This will be make or break time, I know my sale hinges on if this goes well.
If they do announce it, then it's about time! Either way I'm still waiting a while to get mine (at least a year or two), after any bugs and defects are all worked out.
I hope they finally announce it! If they are still releasing this year, november is fast approaching. Also I want to hear what the retro game is
Big Whoop.
Nice. It's getting pretty close to the holidays now, so it'd be nice to get a release date and price for it...
