Rumor: The World Ends With You Possibly Hinted At By Square Enix Website

A sub-domain has appeared on Square Enix's website labeled Subaseka, which is similar to the Japanese title for The World Ends With You, which is Subarashiki Kono Sekai.

Characters from The World Ends With you appeared in the recent Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and back in April Tetsuya Nomura offered hints about a new entry in the series. He said, "regarding The World Ends With You, I can't say anything at present, but there probably is something."

The Square Enix site has a countdown that is ending shortly. Maybe we will find out more soon.

it would make sense they hinted about it..i mean kingdom hearts 3d has characters from this series so maybe their trying to restart the flame all over again XD

It cleary is TWEWY. The Japanese title is 'Subarashiki Kono Sekai' and the link's has 'SubaSeka' is the URL.

A game like this could really show off the potential of both Vita's touch screen and pad, if they decided to make a sequel, or spin-off, for it. To have a new version on 3DS would be great too though. The original was probably my favorite DS game.

Common Sense: Developers have done this in the past, putting Pit in Brawl similar to how Square put these characters in KH3. This is hardly a rumor. It would be closer to say: The logical next step.

That is an awesome rumor. I loved The World That Ends With You a lot; it was my most played DS game. A sequel for it would be great!
