Five Minutes Of Uninterrupted Okami HD Gameplay

The description for this video on Capcom's YouTube page reads, "The breathtaking tale of an awesome wolf." I'm inclined to agree with the apt description.

There is no exact release date just yet, but we should see Okami in all its HD glory before the end of the year. Check out the video below.

  • Okami is still one of the best looking games ever.
  • I see no difference from what it originally looked like.
  • The fiery unicorn has much to live for and will grant you property in his will in exchange for loyalty! He delivers furniture and builds lamps.
  • I just realized that I could have Ammy urinate on enemies in beautiful HD!

  • Since I've never played Okami, then I guess this is my excuse to go check it out.
  • Please oh please, make this for Xbox as well, i beg you!

  • runs a hell of a lot more fluid.
  • Looks really good. I haven't really heard of any bad things about this game.
  • Always wanted to play this. Is there any chance that it might come out for the 360?

  • Now that I think aboutit, having played Twilight Princess, this seems very familiar...hmmmm never really checked this game out before....
  • I have the one for wii but I will have to get this also.

  • My bad.
  • do you need an HD TV? :)
  • I know that it would never happen in all of eternity, but it would be cool if this came to the Xbox 360 as well. I know it won't happen, but if it did, it'd be amazing.

  • Another good reason that I bought my PS3, this looks very intriguing and I've heard a lot of good stuff about it so I'll be definitley picking up this unique looking Japanese gaming experience.

  • Mod

If I wrote a "Moments" piece for the site, one of my choices would be the first time you restore a Guardian Sapling in this game. It gave your actions in the game world a sense of significance and weight, something that most games struggle with.

Gorgeous, fun game. Looking forward to the HD remake.

  • Never completed this back in the day. Figure it'll be one of few games that really, really benefits from an HD remake; optimizing those graphics can't result in anything less than beautiful.

  • I enjoyed okamiden so I'll definitely keep an eye out for this game ;)

  • I loved Okami back in the day. I distinctly remember being surprised by how long it was. Somewhere in the ballpark of 40 hours I think? Regardless, it never ceased to amaze me. Finding the source of that toxic gas was...crazy. :P

  • It looks pretty much like it did on Wii= waste of money if you actually are dumb enough to buy it. Just get it on PS2 or Wii
