Japan's Pikachu 3DS XL Looks Like It Wants To Hug You

This model of the 3DS XL is only coming to Japan (for now), but that doesn't mean you can't look at it and strongly consider trying to import it.

You can only get it at Pokemon Centers in Japan by pre-ordering it between August 25 and September 14, which will probably make importing it difficult.

For some reason, playing a game like Resident Evil: Revelations seems like it would be inappropriate on this 'Pikachu wants to hug you edition' 3DS XL. I would feel bad knowing that all this crazy violence is occurring behind Pikachu's cute face.

I would love this. Of course, I'd have to save up enough money first, so I guess it's a good thing it's not available in the US yet.

UGH! Yeah, I luv Pokemon but I hate the 3DS XL. I have the 3DS and Nintendo has really ticked me off with this 3DS XL crap. I refuse to support anything that has to deal with the XL. So sorry, Pikachu. I don't care.

The Nintendo 3DS XL Is suppose to reduce glare also.. But the Pokemon attempt? Here we go.. All the Japanese School Girls that enjoy pikachu are now rushing into locale Nintendo stores..

I will definitely wait for this. Not that he's my favorite Pokemon or anything, for from it, but having a Pokemon-themed 3DS XL would be amazing.

That's also partially because I don't like the matte texture and cheap-looking design. Not that it's liable to break, but it doesn't look as appealing as the original 3DS make, in my opinion.
