  • I did not know Penélope Cruz had a sister......Well now I do :)
  • That was weird.

  • they're both hot :3
  • i'd still hit that.
  • This will definitely get most men to say "Mamma Mia!"
  • nothing's hotter than a hot girl playing games!
  • well, at least it has actual game-play. Oh, and hot women.

  • Kudos to you Nintendo for making a tasteful commercial using two beautiful women and not having them dress in skimpy attire just to sell a product.
  • I wunna see kim kardashian and her sisters play call of duty, now that's a commercial worth waitching.
  • OMFG! HAHA, that was really, really, random & odd.

  • Oh yeah! A hot Spanish drag king! Now that turns me on!

  • Informative information.

EDIT (since I was being 'lazy'): The first red looks at the horse and sighs after a long breakfast of yesterday.
  • pretty hilarious especially at the end

That's a pretty big name for a video game ad (or for any ad that's not L'Oreal). And why Penelope Cruz? That seems like an unusual choice. I wonder what prompted Nintendo to seek her out (or was it the other way around?). Who is Nintendo aiming at with this ad?

Sex appeal seems too simple. I don't think Nintendo needs that much help attracting adolescent males (despite how unpopular their "all ages" image might be with some of that crowd), and like someone else said, this isn't really a "sex appeal" ad (despite some of the reactions above...). Maybe this is aimed at adults (the same people who might see Cruz in a L'Oreal commercial, maybe).

Nintendo is interesting and confusing, as always.
  • Good, now I want Sony to have a God of War ad where Olivia Wilde plays Kratos. Shirtless and all of course. I mean, for accuracy purposes, and stuff.
  • Either she loves Nintendo and Mario, or she's REALLY desperate for work.
  • I wish I could say that this was the only mario cosplay that gave me a slight chub. I wish.
