I think the black and red themes of Devil May Cry keep in line better with the PS3 box art's font and header. That said, I actually like this cover. Normally, I'm highly adverse to the protagonist walking towards the player, but Dante's genuinely cocky sense of bad@$$-ness fits well here.

The last walk of the final week will be covered in molasses, cranberry sauce, and expired MTA passes.

I like the box art, the colors bring some life into it.

That box art is incredibly generic. I think it looks terrible.

eh, I think they could have done better with the box art. for all I know this game already has mixed reviews.

Though I like the colors and the fact that the logo really pops, the cover tells me little about the game. Someone who doesn't know about the game will wonder what is this guy fighting, why is ground exploding. I think the designers need to add some enemies around Dante or a dead boss under the exploding rocks.

On second thought, the color scheme is unoriginal. I wish I'd get a dollar for every game that uses primarily orange and blue in the cover art.

Definitely stands out from the other DMC boxarts I've seen.
