Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Coming To PC

Konami confirmed a PC release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 in addition to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game is scheduled for release sometime next year.

“Castlevania: Lords of Shadow successfully rebooted the franchise but now we want to go further and exceed people’s expectations on what to expect from the sequel,” says producer Dave Cox.

“This new game tells a much broader tale and one that spans centuries. It is a game that pushes whatever format it is on to the absolute limit, and we are delighted that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2’s rich blend of first-class fighting, deep exploration and rich storytelling are set to delight and enthrall PC users, too."

The PC version is being developed in-house at Mercury Steam.

  • Thank you!  Finally some more love on the PC side.

  • I'm glad the PC version is being developed in-house.

  • YES

  • This might be the best news ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great news..

  • Sweeeeeeeetttt!

  • This almost makes me wonder if they are going to port Lord of Shadows to PC, I know several japanese developers/publishers are trying to dig into the PC market
  • Yay. :)

  • It just gets better and better.

  • I peed, pooped, puked, and bled from my ears, nose, and eyes all at the same time after reading this, and it was glorious.

  • Thank goodness.

  • What song is Alice Cooper singing in that screeshot?
  • Alice is singing "I'm so angry".

  • Never been a Konami fan but, WAY TO GO! I see the PC on the rise!

  • Every time I watch the trailer, my excitement level skyrockets!

I will definitely pick this up for the PC, when it releases. :)
  • Finally showing some love to PCs, shame the first one isnt on PC would love to played it on my beast- hopefully be on Steam and wont use a bloomy DRM like Windows Live. Was a bit annoyed with STF4 having that.

  • It doesn't make sense to me.  If they're porting LOS 2 to PC, then they should port the first one too.  It wouldn't make sense story wise, and they would make more money off it.

  • Now if Rockstar decides to even port RDR to PC I'll be the happiest man ever.
