Castle Crashers Is Coming To PC

The Behemoth announced today, nearly four years after its debut on the Xbox 360, that Castle Crashers is finally making its way to PC.

No word on a release date, but Dan Paladin, one of Castle Crashers' designers, wrote this poem in honor of the announcement:

While BattleBlock has been churning,
there's another wheel turning!
And that wheel is Castle Crashers running on Steam!

It was accomplished by utilizing one of our programming teams!
We always liked this platform so it's kind of a dream!

I'd say a release date but the future's unknown.
If I make a mistake I shall never atone.

If you're in Germany this weekend please say hi to John.
He is at Gamescom.

  • As a budding PC gamer, I am suddenly content with my current lack of a 360.
  • I was not aware of this game until now.
  • Nice! can't wait to play it again, now with my PC buddies.

And would you kindly release BattleBlock Theater already?
  • Does Behemoth do anything besides Castle Crashers?
  • And still no battleblock theater, for shame!

  • I had this game on xbox, it was oh so very fun and unique. I mean a game where you ride deer, is just amazing. Will definitally buy it for PC
  • Awesome!  I've always been interested in this game, and now I can play it with my PC-gaming brother.

  • I really thought it was already on PC; why it's restricted to consoles is beyond me.
  • Should fit right in with the competitive crowd here.

  • sweet i am going to be playing this as well

  • Awh how cute!

  • That reminds me. I still have to get this for Xbox...

  • Finally! It's about time, you guys have no idea how long I've been waiting for this. Here's a hint: Ever since I played it on my friend's 360 4 years ago.

  • Sweet!Sweet!Sweet! Loved this game and lamented sorely when it wasn't available for PC. I have had the picture above as my desktop wallpaper for the last two years hoping they would finally port it to PC. The many unlockable characters, weapons, and fuzzy companions even kept my children laughing. Cant wait!
