Call Of Duty On Vita Gets A Trailer

Nihilistic, the developers behind Resistance: Burning Skies for Vita, showed off footage from Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified with the game's first trailer.

The single-player campaign bridges the story gaps between Black Ops and Black Ops II, and the multiplayer experience will offer all the stuff you know from the console releases like perks, Prestige levels, create-a-class, etc. You will also be able to use the touch-screen to perform melee attacks.

Declassified is a Vita exclusive, and is on track to release the game in November.

  • I like to scrape children's teeth against grindstones.
  • Meh. Good for Vita I suppose, but as a title on it's own with the other CoDs, not so much...

  • Nuketown!!!
  • Sony did a lot to warrant having a Vita. Might even get me to buy one, but this doesn't help it's case.
  • Nihilistic is making this.... ish.

  • Why cant call of duty make new maps? freaking nuketown again "all new maps"
  • That makes me think this won't do well...
  • How is it that this doesn't even look as good as Call of Duty 4?

Oh well. Guess we're going to have to rely on Killzone, which looks beautiful on the Vita.

  • 4v4 matches? That seems somewhat lame.
  • Cool.

  • Looks like DS graphics...
  • Everything about this game looks unappealing.

  • Eh, I'm hoping actual gameplay footage will look better than this. I won't cross it off my list yet.

  • It's pretty much blops 1 with the zombies random missions. Yet I find the 4v4 multiplayer decent for a PORTABLE game.
  • First off, COD as a franchise makes me want to puke. That being said, I think this version looks amazing, and something as simple and brainless as COD multiplayer is tailor-made for a handheld. It defines the quick fix.
  • "Nihilistic, the developers behind Resistance: Burning Skies for Vita" *Looks to the sky and asks god why?* They did a decent job with Resistance, but this? Not as impressive as Killzone, and the awful gunfire audio from Burning Skies seems to have made a return. Uuuggh......
