Diablo III Auction House User Claims He's Already Made Over $10,000

by Kyle Hilliard on Aug 08, 2012 at 04:17 AM

Diablo III released a few months ago, and Reddit user WishboneTheDog (not to be confused with the PBS show about a book-reading canine) claims that he has made over $10,000 using the game's auction house.

He posted a few believable screenshots, and says that he will be reporting the money on his taxes because it is income. He says he's never cheated the game or used bots or anything like that. He just really enjoys the economics of video games and finds reward in buying and selling items in any game. In Diablo III he is just able to convert that passion into actual dollars. The majority of his sales come from finding an item and selling it immediately. WishboneTheDog basically just sounds like a guy who knows what he's doing who really likes Diablo III. Clearly, it's a good combination.
