The lights are on
The newly released Dragon Quest X for Wii topped Japan software sales charts in its first week. Since going on sale last Thursday, the game sold 420,000 units, according to Enterbrain, a retail tracking firm in Japan.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 for 3DS came in at #2 selling an additional 213,000 copies, bringing total sales in Japan up to 644,000 since releasing on July 28. Rounding out the rest of the top five are Pokemon Black & White 2, Demon Training, and Just Dance Wii 2.

Dragon Quest always does amazing for some reason, which is why they continue to churn them out all the time. :D
