Your First Look At Rambo: The Video Game

Publisher Reef Entertainment finally released some screenshots of its Rambo video game project. The game is set to debut at Gamescom later this month, but here's a look at some of its environments.

Rambo: The Video Game is described as a first-person shooter with a fixed perspective that takes players through action sequences from the original three Rambo movies, First Blood, First Blood: Part 2, and Rambo III. The game is due out later this year.

    So NOW we get a rambo video game? and is it on rails cuz "takes players through action sequences from the original three Rambo movies" makes it sound like it.

    Hmm. What the heck, I just see more details about this game. This environment looks even more realistic for players to do some experiment.

    First Blood? Does that mean we would be fighting Police officers and Forest Rangers? A movie mainly about the damaged psyche of a vet, with no real antagonist doesn't seem doable. Maybe stealth "no-kills" ala Metal Gear?

    Hmmm. Never heard of it. Three screen shots showing no character models, with hardly any info to accompany them, and its supossed to be released THIS year? Man, I love the franchise, but not sure this will be any good. Isn't there going to be a game released alongside Expendables 2 as well? Did Stallone just hear about video games or...

    I don't care what it looks like. Any game with "The Video Game" in it's title is destined to eat dirt.

    I want this to be good so much but they have a lot to do to get my hopes up that it will be.

    The First Blood aspect should be interesting, considering he doesn't kill anyone in the movie besides a cop unintentionally. Btw, this game is going to require a sequence where Rambo takes out a whole platoon of enemy soldiers using a .50 caliber.

    I wonder if they will make him kill more cops in first blood. Only one dead cop by the end of the original movie. I really hope this is amazing, but I wish they included the new one also, which had some great action that would translate well to a videogame.

    Impossible. In videogames, your character can die. In the movies, Rambo is an invincible bad-arse. I'm not all that interested, as most can argue that this would be more suited for a third-person stealth game.

    I would only get this if Stallone did the voice acting.
