The lights are on
Capcom confirmed a title update for Dragon's Dogma that includes an easy mode is available on August 6 in North America. The publisher confirmed a new demo of the game is also coming where you can play through the game's opening and the hydra battle. The demo hits August 9 in Japan. A North American date has not been revealed.
Capcom said earlier this week Dragon's Dogma shipped over 1 million copies worldwide despite struggling to sell outside of Japan. The company plans to turn it into a franchise, suggesting a sequel will eventually release.
I think the current difficulty is just fine. Also, anyone who hasn't picked this game up yet should buy it right now. It's awesome and I'm glad to see Capcom bring a new IP late into this gen.
Just what the gaming world needs... another easy mode.
This game is awesome, but I didn't think it needed an easy mode. I need to start playing again.
Add fast travel while you at it.
well that's pretty stupid. Add a Dark Souls mode.
Wow I don't see the need for this.. rather I would like dlc that has some content and not just fetching medals.
WOW! Are americans really that stupid that we need an easy mode for everything? Will the new mode add a pawn that has the word "follow" on top of him? No wonder Super Mario Bros 2 "The lost levels was never released in the US. WE so dum!!!
What's next? Dark Souls easy mode?
Well, that just goes to show that some gamers are babies. I knew the game was going to be difficult, and it feels EPIC after you beat any monster of pack on this game. Throw the controller in anger when you die, come back and fight smarter and harder the next go-round. That simple.
Weaksauce! The game was challenging at first but...
What are the other improvements?
That's cool but whenever I hear about this game I just want Monster Hunter to come to America. I this game isn't trying to be it but I'm sad about the loss of Monster Hunter.
if you do the sidequests then you become easily overpowered and everything falls in a few swipes,it got ridiculously easy towards the end...still a great game though
An easy mode...but..but...but...the game was already easy, you just had to not make any stupid decisions, besides that, once you're in New Game+ you're way above the level of the normal enemies, it's not like they get any stronger. If it was announced that they were adding a hard mode or something then sure, that would make sense..but an easy mode for a game that's already easy once you get into the flow of it makes no sense.
Umm, it wasn't all that hard to begin with.......
