The lights are on
Publisher Take-Two has reported a $110.8 million loss for the first quarter of this year, and the company has specifically cited lower-than-expected sales of Max Payne 3 and Spec Ops: The Line for the dip.
The publisher did not cite sales numbers or expectations for the pair, but in a conference call Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said, "As a hit-driven entertainment company, not every title we produce will meet our sales targets." According to Gamasutra, analyst targets for Take-Two's first quarter was approximately $255 million.
The good news for the company is that digital sales were up 33 percent.

bummer....
That's a shame, both games were good. I still intend to play Max Payne multiplayer. Spec Ops on the other hand I'm probably not going to touch again. Campaign was great, but I find the shooting pretty lackluster.
me too
ouch
Well that is not good at all
Max Payne 3 is easily the best game i have played in recent memory. Go buy it and turn in one of those stupid military shooters for some credit.
