Why Hasn't Bethesda Announced Dawnguard For PS3 Or PC?

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's first downloadable expansion, Dawnguard, was originally planed as a 30-day exclusive for Microsoft. That expired yesterday, but there is still no word on a PS3 or PC release for Dawnguard.

In a recent Twitter post, vice president of Bethesda Softworks Pete Hines said, "We have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news. If we have news, I promise I'd tell you."

We're sure that's not what PS3 or PC user want to hear, but hopefully we'll hear an update about these version soon.

Yeah, they never promised that it would release on pc/ps3 30 days after XBL. I honestly wonder if it ever will.

I really actually don't care, I lost interest after 50 hours. I don't know, I loved Fallout 3 much more.

It's not that interesting anyway guys. I have started to get tired of this game and only fast travel everywhere. There are so many quests that I wasn't even ready for dlc yet.

I don't care how long it takes. This expansion WILL come to PC and PS3. I don't want to give Bethesda any more money, so I won't be downloading the over-priced, mixed-reviewed content that is coded "Dawnguard".

Oh, it'll come in due time. I'm in no rush.

Then again, I burned out on Skyrim something bad after I plowed through 100+ hours in one week. Haven't touched it since last November.

Edit: In my defense, my week off was a vacation. I simply chose to spend it playing Skyrim. And I completely agree that I went overboard with it. :)

well... for one... the pc has tons of mod support that the xbox version doesn't have.... the ps3 version was already pretty bad, so I guess this doesn't change much lol.

It's good to own all consoles :)

I am a proud Xbox owner. And I already have it. I can't seem to find a reason to care that the other platforms don't have it.

As an owner of the game on PS3, ive been wondering the same thing. been waiting for dawnguard to get back into this game. Bethesda just keeps making me more and more dissapointed in them with their business choices and seeming preference for certain consoles.

I would think they would at least give the PC owners some love. The fan base has been there for ages. It's unfortunate for the PS3 owners too, though.
