Michael Phelps Plays Lots Of Call Of Duty

Olympic swimming star Michael Phelps says he's been playing over 30 hours a week of Call of Duty. Speaking in an interview with The Post Game, Phelps says people don't know it's him when he plays online.

"Yeah, people don't know it's mine," he says. "I just get crushed. I always find myself getting heated, trash talking. And you know it's a 10-year-old kid on the other line that just demolished me. It's so frustrating. But it is fun, and I'm very competitive in everything I do." Phelps also said he only plays Xbox.

His Kinect swimming game released last year, Michael Phelps: Push the Limit, has an average review score of 48.

  • This sounds like a thinly disguised ad. from Activision taking advantage of the Olympics...How much did they pay you Michael?
  • I'm reading the comments here and I think it's funny how everyone is saying this isn't news and has no relevance to anything. He has gold medals. He is an Olympic athlete. Having him say he puts 30+ hours into games a week is good for the gaming community. Plus the Olympics are on.

  • He would have done better had he been playing Battlefield instead of CoD ;p

  • Nice.  It's cool when you hear about 'celebrities' playing the same games we do.

  • Always fun to learn fact about super awesome olympians.
