Minecraft Hits 3 Million Sold On Xbox Live

Markus "Notch" Persson, Minecraft's creator, tweeted last night that the Xbox Live Arcade version of the popular game had passed 3 million sold.

"I got told Minecraft for XBLA passed three million sales today!" said Persson on Twitter. The game launched on May 7 and reached 1 million sold in less than a week.
