The lights are on
Gearbox's highly-anticipated RPG/shooter has been finalized. Today the company announced that all the game's on-disc content is finished and the game is ready for certification. As Gearbox puts it, "In other words, the game is finished and we cannot make any further changes to the game."
"As such, the team is now shifting their focus towards post-launch efforts," the statement on Gearbox's website read, "including the Mechromancer: the new character class that will be released as free downloadable content to members of the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club roughly 60 to 90 days after launch."
To become a member of the the Borderlands Premiere Club, you must pre-order the game. For more details, click here.

September 18th is the day i remove myself from the outside world to play the hell out of borderlands 2
YES!! They should make a DLC where you play as Psychos and wait for the heroes to come to your outpost where you handily get your ass handed to you.....then respawn and do it all over again!
Two more months, then I get to run around as Grey Fox's cell-shaded cousin.
Yay! Early release? :p
I have to pre-order this game ASAP next to No Ni Kumi: Wrath of the White Witch-Wizard Collection set. So expensive.
I absolutely loved Borderlands, despite it's flaws. They seemed to have fixed all these flaws in 2, i can't wait :P Too bad all these great games come out in fall, just when i'm supposed to be getting into the school schedule and working hard. xD
*In Frank West voice* "FANTASTIC!"
While I'm glad the game is done, I also hope the DLC is good.
Awesome sauce
