Fieldrunners 2 Now Available On iPhone
Subatomic Studios' Fieldrunners ranks as my second all-time favorite iPhone game. Nothing tops Game Dev Story, folks. Fieldrunners offers a simple, yet intense tower defense gameplay that works perfectly on iPhone. The sequel, which I honestly didn't know was in development until a few weeks ago, launched on iPhone this morning, and is slated to hit iPad in the coming months.
On paper, it would appear Subatomic Studios is going away from the "simple" design. Fielderunners 2 offers 25 levels, new Sudden Death, Hybrid, and Puzzle map types, 30 enemy types, 25 weapons, and new multi-storied environments. I can't wait to see how it all comes together.
