Am I the only one tired of zombie games / movies?

I absolutely love this book and the movie sounds interesting but I feel like a game would be kind of...stale.

I really enjoyed the book, so I'm definitely interested by this game.

They only JUST trademarked this, and people are already saying they would buy it.

Universal if you have any brains at all hire some well known studio to make something.

This book was a great snapshot of alternative history.  Super cool if it's even a movie.  I don't really care for the idea of a game, though.

What on earth is with the zombie-infestation in the media? As far as I can figure, it started with stuff like World War Z and The Walking Dead, and then expanded from there into Zombies in Call of Duty, the flood of recent Dead Rising games (a total of four in the last two years I believe), one-offs like Lollipop Chainsaw, the recent Walking Dead Telltale adventure games, and now the announcement of two new zombie games (because if the movie does well, this is going to be a game. Let's just consider it an announcement) in two weeks. And I still prefer the oldest of the flood of brain-eaters: The Walking Dead. Not the TV show. Carl killed Shane. Not Rick.

Ah, never get tired of good ol' zombies. Never read the book, but I've heard it was pretty good.

I am gonna buy this the second it comes out. The history of the zombie apocalypse from the engineering of the virus to the end of the war and the rebuilding of the humans would be a perfect game.

I've always wanted to read the book but never got around to it. Isn't the book mostly interviews? How would you make a game about that?

Resident Evil 6, The Last of Us, those will most likely be conspiracy oriented zombie games, with outbreaks and such. World War Z I haven't heard much about it, but, it may be a stand alone zombie title like the rest that have come before it.

It better be based off the book, and not awful movie adaption (it is awful because they changed the story).

With the movie releasing next year, who didn't see this coming? This is one of my all-time favorite books, but I'm not very confident in the ability to make a decent game based on it.

*achem* nerdgasm aside, I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. Episodic content and the level-based format of games is something I'd love to see adapted into the different chapters of this book.
