Tower Defense Comes To Ratchet & Clank
Insomniac Games revealed new details on Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, the upcoming download game for PlayStation Network. In addition to returning to the classic third-person camera and weapons, Insomniac is adding a tower defense element where players must build and defend bases from invading enemies. The developer notes that tower defense is not the sole focus, however.
The game is also getting online and split-screen cooperative multiplayer. Players can choose between Ratchet, Clank, or Captain Qwark as they'll have to fight through five levels set on three different planets, Insomniac says.
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is due out this fall. The HD Collection releases on August 28 and includes a demo for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.
