The lights are on
Harmonix is going back to its Amplitude roots in a way with Rock Band Blitz, a downloadable music game that uses a regular controller.
The game comes out first for PSN on August 27 ($14.99) and a day later on XBLA for 1,200 Microsoft Points.
Rock Band Blitz's song library is augmented by the Rock Band store and you can export your music from other Rock Band games. Blitz also comes with 20 songs. Finally, the game's songs are compatible with Rock Band 3, so you can play as a full band if you want.
A few new tunes have also just been announced for Blitz:
For more songs in the game, check out Blitz's official website.

nice .looking forward to it.
cool
The game comes out first for PSN on August 27 ($14.99) very cheap
If there's enough good tracks, I may just buy it for my Rock Band 3 collection.
Another Rock Band? No complaints here.
Rock Band: Replugged
As much as love expanding my RB3 song collection, I'm not interested in most of the currently listed songs.
Its kinda funny considering the fact that they have a ridikulous amount of dlc already out.
Most of the songs they have announced for it so far are terrible, but I might get it anyway.
Sweet!
Looks good. It's awesome that it's compatible with Rockband 3 songs, but I'll pass for now.
sigh band games died off hard.
YAY! Finally a release date for it, I was waiting forever. Some new Rock Band achievements to unlock as well as 25 extra songs, can't wait
Cool
Hmm.... Intrigued...
