QuakeCon 2012 Details Unvieled
id Software's conference will be hitting Dallas next month with a lineup of playable games and panel discussions.
The event opens with a keynote address from co-founder of id, John Carmack. Throughout the three day event panels will take place, allowing panel members and fans to discuss topics, including "The Game of Making Games", "Designing Multiplayer Games That Last", and "Idle Thumbs Podcast Live: Arena".
Panel members will include such big industry names as Marty Stratton of id Software, Ted Price, CEO of Insomniac Games, Chet Faliszek and Tom Leonard from Valve, and Geoff Keighly, host of Spike's GameTrailers.
QuakeCon also has a number of playable game demos, including Dishonored and DOOM 3 BFG Edtion. It'll take place at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas Texas, begining Thursday, August 2nd, and ending on Sunday, August 5.
