The lights are on
Over the weekend during Comic Con, a number of not-so-convincing images surfaced on the Internet claiming to be from Metal Gear Solid 5. Series creator Hideo Kojima says they are fake, however.
The images first appeared on Reddit and later on NeoGAF. It was speculated that since Kojima himself was at Comic Con that he may be showing the unannounced game behind closed doors to members of the press. This was not the case.
"Since I've received inquiries about the MGS5 title screen/the announcement made at Comic Con which I had no idea of, I looked up on the net and found the source," Kojima said on Twitter. "But pls note that title logo is completely FAKE. I apologize to those who were looking forward."
Kojima Productions senior producer Ken-ichiro Imaizumi also said on Twitter, "I've been asked about the screen shots of MGS5 on the game sites. These're ALL FAKE. We'll update when we're ready to announce."
And so the wait for Metal Gear Solid 5 continues...

Well that isn't surprising at all...
What do you expect, it's reddit.
Bummer Station...
Well played trolls, we played.
well duh
"We will update when we are ready to announce"........cool.
Anyone that believed this needs to slap themselves awake. We aren't even close to the release os Revengeance(how-ever you spell it). Why would he be showing anything MG5!?
You just can't trust anything without sources, especially for a game as big as Metal Gear Solid 5.
They didn't deny the existence of MGS5 so it sounds like it will be out eventually. Hopefully next gen.
Bummer.
MGS 5 CONFIRMERED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....fake.
More MGS is always good, but these pics aren't MGS, so what does that tell you about them? They're not always good.
Well, Valve fans get even more excited with onion rings.
