Ratchet & Clank Collection Release Date

Insomniac Games confirmed the North American release date for the Ratchet & Clank Collection on PlayStation 3. The game is available on August 28 for $29.99 at retailers and PlayStation Network. Also included is a demo of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, which is due out this fall.

The collection features all three PS2 games: Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal "remastered" in 1080p. Trophies, 3D support, and online play for Up Your Arsenal are included as well. Development of the port is being handled by Idol Minds.

Ratchet & Clank Collection was released in Japan and Europe earlier this year.

    Already plated the 3 games, I love Ratchet and Clank but I was hoping for a Deadlocked announcement in Europe :/

    Will probably get these at some point. I like the old R&C games, but the newer ones have been kinda disappointing to me.

    I'll probably get this eventually, but I wish it had Size Matters, Deadlocked and Secret Agent Clank on it too to completely cover the PS2 front.

    I never got around to playing the original Ratchet and Clank games, so I can't wait to get this.
