The lights are on
Konami and Universal Studios are teaming up this Halloween in the park's continued efforts to scare attendees. This fall's installment of Halloween Horror Nights, which starts in September and runs through October, mines some of the game series' iconic elements such as shambling nurse things and, of course, Pyramid Head.
The video below shows lots of poorly lit footage of people recoiling in horror. There are also a few shots from the games, but there's a distinct lack of footage of sets or other elements from the haunted house. Universal is probably following Konami's lead in trying to prevent overexposure.

Hahha this honestly sounds awesome. Might have to take a vacation now.
I saw that the other day! I can't wait! I couldn't go to comic-con, but I am going to this!
Sounds really odd but neat all the same
Can't wait to see how they plan to pull this off. Looks pretty intense!
Yay egyptbfaces
I would crap my pants if I saw Pyramid Head in real life!
I hope that Pyramid Head and a mannequin don't enter the same room. Then the horror will really begin.
"This is real."
Ir at least as real as fake horror houses go...
"Prevent overexposure". So that's why Konami has been refusing to advertise about their games.
"...And little Billy was scarred for life, as the haunting image of Pyramid Head humping and eating the restless damned, was forever burned into his retinas and scratched in blood upon his eardrums. Happy Halloween folks!"
Actually, that sounds pretty fun.
