Arcee Will Not Be In Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

by Ben Reeves on Jul 14, 2012 at 08:44 AM

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is a total metal sausage fest; fan favorite female transformer, Arcee will not be making it into the game, but for good reason.

During a panel at Comic Con 2012, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron game director Matt Teiger explained how the custom character creator was a big part of the multiplayer component of the game. The team wanted players to create every type of Transformer found in single player for their multiplayer campaign, and adding female versions would have eaten up more development time, so the team decided to spend that time polishing up other areas of the game. Sorry, Arcee fans.

However, Dinobot and Insecticon fans can rejoice. Even though the team thought they might not be able to include dinosaur designs in the game’s multiplayer, High Moon’s hard work paid off and they were able to actually fit Dinobot and Insecticon designs into the game’s character creator. Unfortunately these two classes won’t be available when the game releases on August 21, but will be added via DLC at a later date.

If only females were Dinosaurs.
