Sega Confirms Sonic Adventure 2 Re-Release

It doesn't come as much of a surprise, considering the leak from earlier this month, but Sega has now officially confirmed Sonic Adventure 2 for Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network.

The announcement came in the form of a video presentation during Sega's Sonic Boom event at San Diego Comic Con 2012. According to the video, the game should be coming this fall.

Just beat the first one. Bring it on shadow and chaos control. I remember playing multi with my cousin. We thought the graphics were awesome and would never look better.

meh. if you guys think sa 1 aged poor, wait til you play sa 2. the first few sonic levels are pretty fun though. the whole dessert section of the game is terrible and i hate how tails is confined to that stupid machine. i had a ton of fun with multiplayer in the gamecube version though!

I love this game. It was the first Sonic game I beat, and it got me into the Sonic franchise. I know, a little late, but I never had a Sega console. Actually, I got the Gamecube version, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. Regardless, I can't wait for this to come out. I'd really love to play through the Sonic and Shadow stages in HD, but the thought of going through the Tails/Eggman and (especially) the Knuckles/Rouge stages make me very hesitant
