The lights are on
To coincide with Comic Con, Microsoft and Machinima have released a full trailer for Halo: Forward Unto Dawn, a new live-action, five-episode web series that will debut on the new Machinima Prime YouTube channel this fall.
The series centers around Thomas Lasky (played by actor Tom Green -- not THAT Tom Green, don't worry), a young cadet at the UNSC Academy. The series will depict Lasky's conflicted feelings about his role in the war between the humans and the Covenant -- and what he learns from Master Chief, who appears to play an important role in the series. Forward Unto Dawn takes place slightly before the beginning of the human/Covenant war, setting the stage for Halo 4.
Microsoft also announced that, as part of the $99 Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Special Edition, you'll get a special 90-minute version of the live action series, as well as some expanded content and a making-of featurette.

My excitement can't be shown with words.
Chief's voice... something's not right with it. The rest was cool.
This was so GREAT!! Can't wait till October 5th!! But Master Chief's voice wasn't all that great, other than that....yes, just yes.
At first I didn't like it, but this seems pretty cool.
Got my Limited Edition on pre-order, can't wait for Nov 6th
Ho shite! I also got goosebumps when the Chief walked in. This looks excellent. I'm sold.
I love how the guy behind the suit is Collossus from X2; So Epic! Halo 4 GOTY <3
That looks some awesome!! So much potencial for a movie.
Awwwwwwwwwww! I can't express my feelings, I can express it with my urine all over the floor.
This looks pretty sweet for a budget mini-series.
That was neat. I'll keep this in the back of my mind for now.
Looks decent, not too overly excited, but I'll most likely check it out.
