Ubisoft has hitched its wagon to Starz's Spartacus original series with an arena-combat game slated for 2013.

The project doesn't have specific consoles tied to it yet (not ones that Ubisoft has announced, anyway), but it will feature thousands of weapon combinations, a skill system, and online multiplayer.

TV Spartacus actor Liam McIntyre has lent his likeness and voice acting to the game, as well as his feedback on what it's like to pretend kill someone – just like gamers do.
