The lights are on
Silent Hill HD Collection released four months ago, and a patch addressing many issue players had with the game recently became available.
According to a posting on the Silent Hill Community message boards, a patch for the PlayStation 3 version of the game has released that fixes issues such as framerate, voice synchronization, missing music, fog density, and a number of other small issues.
We've reached out to Konami to find out more information about the update, and whether or not the update has also been made available for the Xbox 360 version of the game.

They sure took their time.
Good thing I waited till now to pick up a copy. So now I'll get the patch and not pay full price for the game. Gonna go pick this up later this week
Wow its taken them this long to patch it
Well, at least Konami's fixing those needs- hopefully.
Finally! I played this for all of fifteen minutes and shelved it because it was so wonky. Been hearing rumors of a patch for ages. These games are classics! Can't wait to play them again.
I love the Silent Hill series, at least what I've played of it, but I'm not buying this until I see some evidence of the patch actually working. If all goes as planned then I'll get it, I've never played SH3.
thank you! now i can finally buy this game :D
Fog was literally the only problem with my game and honestly even I had these other problems cited it wouldn't completely ruin two great games.
