The lights are on
Update: Konami confirmed trophies are coming to North America along with a new version of the game. More details will be announced later.
A report out of Japan mentions that 2008's Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is finally getting Trophy support after all these years.
According to a report from Japan's Famitsu Magazine, Trophies will be featured in a patch for existing users as well as included in a budget version of the game that will come out in August in Japan.
No word yet whether this stuff applies to the U.S.

Wow, i could totally cry right now. I really would love to have a reason to do this all over again.
I have waited so long for this. It better be true. We really got ripped off by this game being the last game before trophies were standard. Very excited if this is true.
Sweet its about time lol
wow... i had this game 3 years ago, and was wishing it had trophies.
My body is ready for this.
I have a backlog of over 20+ games. Gotta squeeze the Metal Gear Collection and this in at some point. -__-. So many games. I just now beat A Crack In Time.
I am playing this game now. Too funny. God this a fabuolous game. Snake rules!
And now(with the addition of trophies), Snake can finally: "This is Snake, I'm done here."
Wow talk about excellent timing....no really let's talk about it. It would have been excellent to get this about 4 years ago.
finally i shall play this game! bought the CE when it dropped all those years ago, but without trophies it felt.... hollow. I Love my trophies!!!
