The lights are on
Update: Activision confirmed pricing for the game: $39.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3 and $29.99 for 3DS.
Activision's pulling back the curtain on its E3-announced deal with Angry Birds maker Rovio.IGN reports that the trilogy will include Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio (not the newer Angry Birds Space) for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and 3DS this holiday."You can think of the game as the ultimate collector’s edition," Rovio executive vice president of games Petri Järvilehto tells the site. "There are new cinematics, extras and other entertaining content. In addition all of the existing material has been uprezzed and re-treated for the high-resolution and big screen." Strangely, the game will be boxed up for retail instead of being downloadable. Move, Kinect, and StreetPass will all be supported.

I actually think I might buy it... if it's cheap. A trilogy of downloadables, that are already 5 dollars each, at retail for a slightly higher amount of money for extra content. Kind of like what they did with the BIT.TRIP games merged onto the 3DS. I felt like that was worth it. I'd probably just get the 3DS version since it's most likely going to be the same as the 360, just with better visuals. :)
The COD series on the iPhone comes to major platforms... wow
best Ps3 see maybe trophy in Game or minis think most minis
Retail? If this game is successful then I will have lost all faith in humankind.
Uhm... why in the hell would I want to play this on a console? This seems like just a fantastic waste or time to me.
$40!!!!!!! What the hell Activision, only you can overprice something you can get for $5 on the iPod. Screw you butt holes.
I think they need a new marketing manager to tell them that this will sell under 30 dollars, not over 30 dollars.
Who would actually pay $40 for 3 games that are really cheap or free everywhere else?
If they make this for PS Vita, I would buy.
$40, I did not see that coming. Holy cow that seems outrageous.
Holy crap 40 dollars for angry birds?!?!?!? Even the 3DS seems really pricy. Holy Crap!!!
Their pricing, it amuses me so.
Yeah, I'm not gonna play that much.
$40? Are they retarded?
they must be insane. O.O that pricing is..so...bad
How the balls is this going to justify $40, let alone $30 on the 3DS?
Activision marketing at its finest. $40, what a load of crap.
I can think of a lot better things to spend 40 + tax on. No way this will do well at retail. Anyone who gives a **** about angry birds, myself included, already have the free copies you can get on android or the 99 cent copies you can get on Ipod/Iphone anyway.
