Angry Birds Trilogy Announced

by Bryan Vore on Jul 11, 2012 at 10:55 AM

Update: Activision confirmed pricing for the game: $39.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3 and $29.99 for 3DS.

Activision's pulling back the curtain on its E3-announced deal with Angry Birds maker Rovio.

IGN reports that the trilogy will include Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio (not the newer Angry Birds Space) for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and 3DS this holiday.

"You can think of the game as the ultimate collector’s edition," Rovio executive vice president of games Petri Järvilehto tells the site. "There are new cinematics, extras and other entertaining content. In addition all of the existing material has been uprezzed and re-treated for the high-resolution and big screen."

Strangely, the game will be boxed up for retail instead of being downloadable. Move, Kinect, and StreetPass will all be supported.
