Sonic And Mega Man Team Up In Comic Crossover

A new, 12-part comic series sees Sonic the Hedgehog team up with Mega Man. The crossover is being published by Archie Comics, which believes this will be one of the most "acclaimed and best-selling comic crossovers ever."

“We’ve had a long, fruitful history with Sonic and are enjoying great success with Mega Man in all our markets. Bringing these characters together was something we’ve been hoping for since we got both licenses, so this is very much a dream come true for the company," says Archie Comics Co-CEO Jon Goldwater.

Ian Flynn, a long-time Sonic and Mega Man comic writer, is tackling the storyline for this project. It will be available both in print and digitally. A release date was not announced.

Now there's an idea. Mega Man is much cooler than Tails and the crew- except for Knuckles, who is actually okay. Maybe he can bring Sonic's reputation back now. ;-)

Okay, if this was a game, I would love this. But... A comic? Maybe the blue bomber will help the super sonic hedgehog get his rep back. >.> Or just make it worse.

i hardly doubt ill help sonic franchise that much wen sega continues to rush made sonic games that suck and besides megaman is from capcom not sonic ill pass on this till sega makes a good sonic game if they ever bring the franchise back to sonics original roots like the classics.

I for one can't wait to see how this turns out. There have been far crazier crossovers than this before - Archie once did a crossover of Sonic and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

It seems like a good video game idea too. A fighting game for Sonic Characters Vs. The Mega Man characters.
