The lights are on
Sega's upcoming book titled The History of Sonic the Hedgehog is available for pre-order now. As I am sure you have gathered from the title, the book outlines the history and development of Sonic. It covers Sonic from his 2D era, to today's Sonic and is full of interesting facts like Green Hill Zone went through many iterations and took more than eight months to complete.
No word on a release date for the book yet, but you can pre-order it now, and Sega's blog has a few sample pages to check out.

I really wish I could get this...I hate having no moneys
Not a Sonic fan, but it might be an interesting read. I'm sure I'll pick it up eventually.
sounds interesting, wonder how in depth it gets?
This sounds awesome, I won't be preordering it but I'll probably pick it up eventually. I love me some Sonic.
I read that and assumed it was Sonic the Hedgehog: the Novel.
I know what Tim's getting for Christmas.
I think video game collections would be nice. If Nintendo re-released the Zelda Collection that released on gamecube for 3DS, I would love them forever.
I'd almost expect them to talk about the decrease in quality over the past few years, but the sales numbers have probably led Sega to believe that series is doing just fine.
Still looks cool to have a history book like that.
