Remixer Kevin Penkin reconstructs two famous Final Fantasy pieces in the new OC ReMix track, "Duel of the Blades." The popular video game music remix site, OC ReMix, has approved several mixes based on the incredibly famous "One Winged Angel" song originally from Final Fantasy VII, but this new track steps outside the box by reconstructing the structure of the main melody. Penkin reworked the piece by mashing it up with another famous Final Fantasy melody, "Liberi Fatali", from FF VIII, and by inserting some pretty good solo woodwind sections near the end.[Source: OC ReMix]

Not bad but I didn't like it as much as the original songs, especially how the main bit of One Winged Angel sounded.

As a kid I loved hearing Liberi Fatali while I was in awe at the opening to FF 8. It gave me goosebumps every time.
I still think it's one of the best openings in video game history.
