The lights are on
The epic continuation of the Halo series is due in November and, according to 343 Studios, it's almost done -- but fans of the series may have to clean off their hard drives to get the full experience. The game will require an 8GB install to experience the full multiplayer, which includes your traditional PvP matches, called War Games, and a new mode, called Spartan Ops. The latter mode features a co-op mode that will be be given new episodes each week. The full install size has not been revealed, but it is recommended that players completely install the game to get the full experience.

Hey, doesn't affect me. The hardest thing I'll have to do this fall is see if I can save up enough money for the Limited Edition.
That sucks, but I have a 320 GB so I won't have to worry. Sad for people that still have twenty, or even 60.
Don't worry ive got room for ya.
master chief put on some weight.....
Dang! Microsoft needs to stop selling the 4 gig Xbox.
so why is this game costing 60 dollars when we have she'll extra for unnecessary crap. Not saying that i don't have enough space but there are millions of people with a 20 GB hardrive. Forcing people to buy a new hard rive just to play this game is ludicrous.
Dear god skyrim was the same size....
Maybe that explains the superior looking graphics? I am surprised this console generation is getting stretched so far. Compare Halo 3 screenshots to Halo 4. It is ridiculous.
Its a shame for people with smaller hard drives, but its not super expensive to upgrade to a larger one.
Its not like this is some online pass BS or other ploy for money, its just ALOT of content, which is a good thing IMO.
Thank god I bought a new hard drive.
Not even sure why Microsoft makes 4GB consoles in the first place.
Thats a big game. Hopefully it will be good.
It's required? Can't you just play from the disk?
If this is true then I know a lot of people that would have bought the game that now won't, unless they get 8G flash drives. I wonder how much those cost nowadays. Checking...
Lol, a 16G flash drive is $6 on Amazon. Since you can format that to work on your 360 now, this isn't really a problem. A lot of tech retarded people are still gonna be pissed about this and not realize they can format a flash to work.
I was liking everything about Halo 4 up until this. I can't afford a bigger HDD for my Xbox right now and I barely have any memory left on my old 20GB HDD.
Awesomeness, harddrivefullness
Wow! I have 180GB left but still wow
8GB? That's just brutal.
