The lights are on
The epic continuation of the Halo series is due in November and, according to 343 Studios, it's almost done -- but fans of the series may have to clean off their hard drives to get the full experience. The game will require an 8GB install to experience the full multiplayer, which includes your traditional PvP matches, called War Games, and a new mode, called Spartan Ops. The latter mode features a co-op mode that will be be given new episodes each week. The full install size has not been revealed, but it is recommended that players completely install the game to get the full experience.

Come on... I can't believe how many people are surprised when the fact of the matter is you get campaign, co-op for spartan ops which they already promised seasonal co-op campaign with the first season alone going to be 50 episodes. Anyone knowing that should already have an idea that the multiplayer data will be huge
I have 80GB left on my 120GB hard drive so I should be fine, but 8Gb is still a huge amount of memory.
I have space for that. I have a 250gb
so that means the game is coming in 10 double layer discs and you have to swap discs
Ahhhh crap.
Glad my gow3 slim is up to par...my buddies fat 20gig 360...not so much
Eh, even though I only have a 20 it was bound to happen. Bigger games need more space, bottomline. Its one of the reasons I was so mad that Microsoft sold the initial Xbox with only 20gb. And the costs for Microsoft's HDDs is so high that I'm not going to be buying one any time soon. Oh well.
I dont have much space...
This is no problem for me. As for people who don't have enough space, they should look through their hard drive. You'll be surprised how on how much space is taken up by things you don't need anymore. I was surprised when I saw the Halo 3 beta still on my hard drive.
Thank goodness I upgraded to a 250 gig hard rive last summer, or else I'd be in trubble.
Well well well ball in my hands now
that 4gb arcade bundle seems that much more strategic now! Wonder if they will do the same for CoD? That would sell 10's of millions of hard drives.
Oh crap, I only have 7 GB on my hard drive! What can I do? *Panics*
At first I was like "!!!" but then I remembered Battlefield 3 currently takes up about 20GB with it's huge updates and installed on my 360 so I have something to delete when Halo 4 comes out.
