The lights are on
Sega today announced Total War: Rome II, a sequel to the 2004 hit PC strategy game. Developer Creative Assembly is behind the new game, which is due out sometime next year.
“Our games have always encompassed a grand vision,” says creative director Mike Simpson. “But we’re now pushing that vision at both ends of the spectrum. From the immense reach of the sandbox campaign right down to the human-level drama of a single warrior on the battlefield, we’re aiming for an unprecedented level of detail and scale”.
Total War: Rome II promises "the most expansive turn-based campaign and the largest, most cinematic real-time battles yet seen in any game."
Alright, I like these games. Should be fun.
Loved the first one. Probably won't play this one, though.
Neat
Time to start saving up for a gaming PC. Probably get one when current gen system become unsupported.
You spelled announced wrong.
This is grand news!
ahem, excuse me while i say: SQUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
First one is still my favorite by far, and probably one of my favorite games of all time. Was hoping so badly they'd go back to Rome. Best game announcement in years IMO. Can't wait.
Fantastic news. It's made my day. Love the Total War series. I've never really got into the first Total War: Rome, I didn't like it that much. However, I love Medieval 2, my current favourite. I also love their recent total war games like Shogun 2. So if it's a major improvement on the first Rome, I'll be happy.
yeess! finally i ve been waiting for this for ages!
