The lights are on
Original Xbox games (and later on PC) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel Sith Lords are reportedly coming via a PC-only bundle pack.
Joystiq has it from a reader who has tracked down the bundle through both GameStop and Amazon.
Combining info from both retailers, this twofer pack is apparently coming out this month on July 17 for the nice price of $20. Here's hoping.

I f***ing hate it when people talk about KotOR II as "that crappy sequel to the amazing KotOR". It's such an underappreciated game... Unfortunately, I feel like most people get fed up with the bugs and the cut content and just couldn't see past them. Either that, or they were expecting the typical Bioware "join the elite group of warriors to defeat the super powerful enemy and save the world" tripe and was disappointed with the much more personal adventure of TSL.
I love the first KotOR, but the depth of the second game blows it out of the water. Obsidian basically deconstructed the entire Star Wars universe in a way that no other Star Wars game had attempted to do, because they all are too busy trying to make you the super-epic-***-Jedi-who-saves-the-galaxy. Just download the Restored Content mod for KotOR II, and replay it again - it's absolutely brilliant. I would even consider it to be the deepest, most thought-provoking story that the Star Wars universe has ever produced.
Maybe we'll see KOTOR 3 soon. I also agree with some other people on here about the second game being better than the first. I did like the overall story of the first game better, but the gameplay and characters were way better in the second game.
the Sith Lords is the definitely less polished and has the inferior story by far, but the game systems such as classes, levels, force powers, and everything in between actually make it more fun than the first.
This is pretty cool but no real reason to get it since I already have them both for my PC
Is the Sith Lords a contemporary, patched-up version? Are both of them patchd-up? Because they're buggy as heck.
Retailers received the listing for this game from distributors back in April so it's not exactly new. Guess nobody noticed but then it's not really big news either.
I hope we can still whip up the good ol' beard mods and combat mods and such... :3
