The goaltenders in NHL 13 look like they react pretty realistically. This new trailer highlights some of the new features being added that make the goalies seem as flexible as ever. NHL 13 is out on September 11 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

    looking good! i was hoping for some video of the players skating backwards i was really psyched to read about that feature

    Long time NHL user/player here: this looks IDENTICAL to NHL 12. I did not see 1 new movement, feature, or anything of the sorts to lead me to believe this isn't NHL 12. The section with "Complete Limb Movement" is nothing new, it looks EXACTLY like NHL 12 movements from goalies (I have played about 600 games as goalie throughout NHL 11 and 12). I'll be passing on this one. EA can do all they want to hype the game, but it won't be fooling me this time around. Fool me once, fool me twice EA.

    anyone who says theres nothing new, now forwards cant shoot acurate wrist shots while sprinting down the ice, the fast you go makes it harder for you to hit your shots, and new physics animations have been added, and AI goalies have been revamped to prevent the use of glitch goaling, and also how much more can you add to a great game?

    hahaha wow i don't even play sports games but this is tripping me out, it looks SO GOOD. like the graphics and the physics and animation and everything, games are looking *** today

    As a fan of the last four or five NHL games, I have to say that this looks like nothing new at all.  The opening intro (ie the first 18 seconds) didn't look similar to last years entry, it looked identical.

    As for goalie anticipation and everything else, it all looked like the same as last year.  The same or similar animations, and while I know it's hard to show off reworked A.I, if that's all that's being brought to the table, then I'll pass.  The game looks great, but so did last year's build, and the year before, and the year before that.

    It would be nice if they could get NCAA teams in there.  I would love to play as the UMD Bulldogs.
