The lights are on
Today the game company unveiled their entire schedule for the game conference, which will take place in Cologne, Germany, from August 15th to 19th.
The highlight for many fans will be on Thursday, August 16th, when Blizzard unveils the opening cinematic to the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria expansion as well as a hands-on demo that will be accessible through the conference. Starcraft fans will be happy to know that the multiplayer mode for Heart of the Swarm will be open for visitors to the Blizzard booth, as well as the opportunity to play the recently released Diablo III.
In addition to these events, there are also several smaller activities, including:
- Blizzard developer signings
- Professional Starcraft II showmatches
- Opportunity to watch top guilds raid in World of Warcraft
- The chance to hear an orchestra perform live some of Blizzards best music
- The annual Blizzard costume and dance competition
- The chance to take part in quizzes and giveaways throughout the event

Not really interested in Pandaria.
Starcraft II?
Can't wait to see the Pandaria opening cinematic, hoping for a release date too! New footage of Heart of the Swarm, maybe a beta release date? Or actual release date too would be nice. Gamescom should be exciting!
hav´nt been interested in WOW for 8 years now.. its dead to me... SC on the other hand,i cant wait to see more off,and i want Heart of the Swarm right f***´n NOW!!... get it done blizzard...
Ohh and the only reason i would go this event,is if they sold the HUGE SC poster´s at their booth... Seriously.. why dont they sell those huge SC poster online?? i friggin one all of em.
Dude, I so wish I could be there...sounds like fun.
I just could never take this game seriously. Only the panda part though. I mean, its liike they were watching Kung Fu Panda and were like "Hey...theres an idea..."
They should name the new expansion "World of Warcraft: Pokemon & Pandas"
Now I know why Blizzard don't want to have a full on Blizzcon this year...because they're doing this gig.
