Californication Actress Is Your Next Lara Croft

In case you've been wondering who will be putting on Lara Croft's tank top in the Tomb Raider reboot, wonder no longer. Actress Camilla Luddington is taking on the role, providing the voice and motion-capture performance for the spelunking heroine.

Luddington is perhaps best known for her roles as Lizzie in Californication and Kate Middleton in the TV movie William & Kate. She's also taking on a role in the fifth season of True Blood.

To get a sense of what you can expect, take a look at this trailer from William & Kate. Now imagine Luddington saying things like, "It's blocked. I need to push this giant stone square," and "It is critical that I raid this tomb!" 

Tomb Raider is set for a 2013 release on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3

    I know this is off subject but I thought I should share this with everyone who enjoys good RPGs.     I had no idea who Camilla Luddington was in till now, but from what I saw from the Tomb Raider trailers and gameplay, she seems to be doing a great job performing in Tomb Raider.

    Jesus, I'm glad to see the casting agency hit it on the head with this one. Quick read-through of the comments showed that they picked the best possible sex appeal and no one cares to even discuss if she's talented or suited for the role aside from remarks about her chest.
