[SPOILERS] With the impending release of Mass Effect 3's ending DLC, players might be wondering how to access the new content.

To experience the Extended Cut, load a save game from before the attack on the Cerberus Base and play through to the end of the game. The Extended Cut endings will differ depending on choices made throughout the Mass Effect series, so multiple playthroughs with a variety of different decisions will be required to experience the variety of possibilities offered by the new content.

Can't I just go to right before the Starchild part? I liked the original ending, so hopefully EC doesn't change it completely (I know it's only extra cutscenes). BTW, I'm going to bet there's even more RAAAAGE over EC than the original ending.

I'm at 5400 EMS and have a save before the Cerberus mission. I just wish I didn't have to decide between this and Dawnguard.

Hopefully this clears up a lot of the problems that many gamers, myself included, had with the current explanations and presentation of the original endings. I know I was upset that I didn't get really any closure with a good chunk of the characters I had gotten to know with my 8 different Shepards. Also, didn't care for how the endings really didn't let me see the impact I had on the galaxy.

Oh well. At get to see how they try to explain everything and all that fun jazz. I'm especially curious as to why Joker decided to run off with my girlfriend and best friend. Freaking jack-ass.

I feel like Mass Effect 3 already has a bow on the series and their universe that I don't really feel like exploring it again. The fiction feels complete. I don't think an extra cut scene or two that explains what happened to Joker or Wrex is enough to get back into Mass Effect or in that case purchasing an ME3 DLC.

Maybe I'll just look it up on Youtube rather than playing the last 4 or 5 hours again.

While I would love to see what they added, I am simply not going to do the whole take back Earth mission just to watch some cutscenes that may or may not make things better. Tomorrow is gonna be dawnguard all day long, maybe I'll do the Take Back Earth mission after I'm done with the Dawnguard or just youtube it. If any of you do it, feel free to tell me about it in my profile page here.

I'm disappointed that they are only "expanding" upon the ending rather than changing it, but at least I'll get some "closure" for my Shepard even if he completely forgot what he stood for in the last 10 mins of his journey.

I wonder if Prometheus will get a different beginning, middle and end that everyone can clearly understand and that does not require any thoughtful participation on the part of the audience. I loved the movie and I loved the endings I saw to ME3. Where is the controversy over a great film like Prometheus?

Do I have to get 100% on the galaxy map to achieve something extra like that scene of shepard waking up in the original ending? someone please answer this, I really don't want to play that boring co op again unless it's going to do something to the ending/Single player.

I didn't like the ending, but it's whatevs. I'd rather they spent the time/effort working on new mission DLC or something, even if it weren't free, but that's just me.
